Hi once again we are now in Ballarat and this will be my last entry, into this blog for a while we have now traveled AROUND OZ and have seen so many places and met so many people and it has been absolutely great we have enjoyed the travel immensely, but before I start the tears I had better fill in the last part of our trip and what we have been up to.
Adelaide we arrived and stayed for 4 Days the weather still being in the 40ties and finishing with the 20ties by the time we left, during our stay, we visited friends in Little Hampton which was great and visited Handorf , the place has changed and realy is no longer a Germanic attraction, although they are trying to keep it that way, did manage to have a lunch of German sausages and Bianka had Kassler so we went away happy otherwise Adelaide was a clean up stay.
Next stop Robe
Robe CP
now this was a nice seaside town and in the summer is be great place to be, has nice beaches, and the CP is nice too, stayed 3 days and than of to Mount Gambier
for another stay of 3 days more or less to kill time but we visited the Blue Lake
The Umpherstone Sink Hole when you enter Mount Gambier

Port MacDonald
The Flies not to bad but we have seen thousands more
went to Dartmouth as the carvings
where well worth seeing, especial the carved Fairy Tale Tree.
Visited the town off Nelson
had lunch so our stay in Mount Gambier The Green Lake
was nice despite the rain we had for the days we where there.
Warnambool
next for another 3 nights where Bianka went shopping and I polished the Caravan which now looks almost as new, we did have a wander around here but not much else.
So we arrived at Ballarat 2 days ago and I am putting this together as our last part of the trip.
I would like to thank all those who have been following our Blog and travel with us and hope to see you again next year when Bianka and I will hopefully travell once again.

Denham, (Monkey Mia),Kalbarri, Geralton, New Norcia, Freemantle, Margarat River, Albany & Norseman
Hi once again it has been a long time since my last keyboard action "due to time restrains laziness and no internet service" so this will be my catch up and I will start with the wild flowers of WA

When leaving Carnarvon we met up with Merl and Errol again and till this day have traveled together in convoy so to speak and long distances have been covered with some of the strongest head winds you can imagine but never mind it just tells you that from October till Christmas it is not worth being in WA due to the wind, have not had a swim since Carnarvon.
Denham ( note the wind)
a nice little place and it is the gateway to Monkey Mia, MM a little overrated but we did see the Dolfins being fed
by selected people , we visited the wind farms, Little Lagoon, the Peron Heritage Precinct and topped it of with Shell beach,
now that is interesting to see Shells that are Melted togheter by sea and time
up to 25+ meters deep so you can actuallycut it in blocks
use it to for walls or statues etc.
then of f to Kalbarri with a stop in a freecamp next to a river and again met some other friends Pam and Russel, Kalbarri a very nice seaside township with great beaches (no swimming to windy, from here on I mention beaches( no swimming) Visited a number of great River Gorges here Red Bluff
, Z Bend
Natures Window
,
and
Leaving our mark by placing a rock on the pile
Saw the Whales a number of times
from some great vantage points.
Had a great Dinner
Here I also fed the Pelicans
we walked around the Island which we got to by boat
Kalbarri one could have stayed for a fortnight but we had to move on so on to Geralton ,it is a big city so it was off to see some of the sights the Cathedral
Old Geralton Jail but the Highlight here was the HMAS SYDNEY Memorial

spent 3nights here then off to New Norcia with a few free camps in between we stopped at Greenough village and its Leaning trees
due to powerful winds they get here also the Wind farms are here.
Visited the Pinicals which are an awesome sight

New Norcia
is a village started and built by 2 Monks a 100 years plus ago and and is still operational today here we stayed for one night and went to Vesper with the Monks
Organ with Black normal keys and White upper keys due to shortage in Ivory a 100 years ago
Monks living quarters
Sunday Mass Bianka and I were asked to take the Ceremonial wine and bread to the Monks who conducted the Service and to be truthful I was touched on both occasions and am glad we did this.
Abbey Beer a nice touch and taste
Lunch time and we headed for Perth were originally going to bypass but Bianka and I wanted to dine at the Freemantel
Pier and we did also stopped of at Kings Park.
Bianka with a friend in Harvey
Story Telling in Harvey for the kids.

Over the next few days we travelled through Bunbury, Busselton Margaret River where we Tasted some cheese, toffee,Honey Comb
and never entered a winery after seeing the prices they charge here Margeret river wines are cheaper in Woolworth.
From Kalbarri onward we were lucky enough to still see Wild Flowers although it is the back end of the season.
During this time we stayed at lots of free camps
or national parks, most western southerly part of WA
Whalpole the Water falls Trek note: Bianka on the Bridge and Trek
the Treetop Walk
in this area I climbed the Karri tree

with a height of 61 Meters it was great.
Bianka and I a little way up the tree
Karri trees

Lots of stops along the coast with places like Green Pool
and the Elephant rocks
and continually seeing wild Flowers then to Albany
for a day, after this we did a lot of driving and travelled via Lerramungup
(every place just about here has Up behind its name place, Ravensthorp,
Esperance

Bianka looking towards the north and Victoria
and now as I mentioned at the start we are in Norseman
The Kettle tree
After our look around here in Norseman, we decided to do a day trip to Kalgoorlie
Bianka in a gold pot for poring gold
to visit an open cut gold mine

and to visit the Miners Hall of Fame

while there we watched the poring of gold interesting to see

drove past the house of ill repute Bianka would not let me go to sample their wares ah well never mind
We are now ready to do the right turn for the East tomorrow thursday, and that is for my next blog
